I'll attempt to answer you anyway.

Yes, it's unusually slow today. All of the boards here are affected.

It is kinda slow here due mostly to all the traffic. High traffic on the more popular boards such as this one. Also I've noticed a number of new boards (mostly in this category - oh, dear!) have been created recently. Also, bandwidth has been an issue. Some boards post far more images than others.

The owner is working on a newer, faster version of Hostboards as we speak. Hopefully it will debut soon.
